 Local 492 will be holding for OSHA 10 and Haz.com classes for AmieriPride Members. Pre-Registristration for OSHA 10 and Haz.com classes will be accepted on Sept. 6th through Sept. 10th only. The classes will be held Saturday, Oct. 2nd and Sunday Oct. 3rd from 8 am to 4 pm.  This class requires attendance both days. Both classes will be held at the Teamsters Hall, 4269 Balloon Park Rd NE, Alb. Pohl For  July/August 2010:     By the time you receive this newsletter our members would have already met the new manager. He will come in trying to change everything in attempt to make a name for himself and cut costs to the company. Our members must remember that you give an honest days work for an honest days pay. If the company wants to change the terms and conditions of employment outside of the contract inform your steward or the local union so we can address these changes with the company. 

 Sara Lee Stores:          

The thrift stores are weathering the storm in this economy. We are very fortunate not to experience any store closures or layoffs.

 Support Contract Services:

 All of our members are working, although one of our brothers was very ill. We hope by the time Brother Olguin reads this newsletter he will be fully recovered. Note to our members the current Collective Bargaining Agreement is due to expire August 11, 2010, so start thinking about contract proposal
