SYSCO:
The overtime after eight (8) hours worked in day arbitration was heard on June 22, 2010. The attorneys are required to submit their briefs on the case by July 22, 2010. We hope to have a decision by the end of August. Currently, we have three arbitration cases pending in the Transportation Department and two in the Warehouse.
JK HILL:
Kirtland Air Force Base is in the process of a logistic transformation that will standardize business processes and personnel roles across the Air Force logistics community. This campaign is called eLog21; this is considered the largest change ever undertaken with the Department of Defense. These changes will affect every Air Force logistician, from the unit supply technician and flight-line maintenance specialist through senior leadership at every level. The Local Union attended the kickoff Event on July 8, 2010. We will do everything in our power to insure our members will have job security through these changes and after as well. Please keep your stewards aware of any changes that the company makes so we can insure they stay within the guidelines of our current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
