There have been a total of five (5) line-drivers recalled in the month of June. We will continue to monitor the “in and out” sheets to see if we can get some more drivers recalled, because of the use of laid-off and foreign drivers. Laid-off drivers, please do not forget to highlight your name if you take a trip to ensure you do not get missed on the recount. 

Congratulations, to Kelvin Holly, Billy Sanchez, Kirk Weis, and Gerald Benavidez on their newly elected position as a Union Steward.

The dock has recalled five (5) of the laid-off employees.

Once again, the Gallup, New Mexico terminal is being serviced out of Gallup and Mr. Alex Ortega is the employee there.

There have been two employees recalled for the month of May and two for the month of June due to the use of supplemental employees for those months. We will continue to monitor the casual reports.

 We have begun negotiations with Pat Salmon & Sons, Inc. for a first contract. Both sides exchanged non-economic proposals on May 19^th and there were not many significant differences between the proposals. The Company and the Union also agreed to an interim bidding procedure that addresses a major issue that the drivers had with regard to team bidding.  We are moving in a positive direction and are working toward having a tentative agreement for the new members to vote on sooner rather than later.
