Kevin Pohl - Business Agent

Kevin started at Yellow Freight Systems in November, 1987. He worked the dock, earned his CDL and then progressed to P.U.D. driver. He was appointed as an Alternate Steward October, 2002, and then became the primary Steward. Kevin worked closely with the members filling out grievances and settling claims.

Brother Pohl was hired by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from July 5, 2004, through November 2, 2004, as a Political Coordinator for the Kerry/Edwards Campaign. He worked hard setting up registration tables and pounding the streets in order to sign up members to register to vote.

Kevin returned to Yellow Transportation Inc. in November, 2004, and was hired as a Business Agent for Teamsters Local 492, by Robert D. Younger, Secretary-Treasurer, in December, 2004. He is now covering the white paper contracts, working with the Building Trades, construction and also handling political activities.
