	Moises became a member of Teamster Local 492 in June, 1993, when he began his employment at Yellow Freight System.  While at YTI, he was appointed Alternate Job Steward for the Dock and PUD in 1995.  Moises was elected Job Steward in 1996.  He also served as Alternate Steward in 1999-2001.  Moises was again elected Job Steward in 2002. Brother Ortega was elected and served as a Trustee on the Local 492 Executive Board for the terms beginning in 1996, 1999, and 2002.  He resigned that position in January, 2003, to accept a full time position as Organizer and Business Agent for Local 492.
