9/3/2026 - This message is for all of those that participate in the Safety Incentive through Southwest Multi-craft (Southwest Service Admin) insurance program.
Good Afternoon Everyone,
It’s that time of year again! The 2026 Safety Incentive Program will begin accepting applications effective Tuesday, September 1, 2026, through Thursday, October 15, 2026. CLICK HERE To View/Download The Cover Letter and FAQ Sheet which has been mailed to all eligible participants. The notice instructs participants to obtain the application form themselves and can be Viewed/Downloaded Here for convenience. It will also be mailed to all signatory employers. All of the documents can also be found on the SSA portal, located under the Safety Incentive 2026 tab by CLICKING HERE
Participants who choose to submit the form by paper should mail it via certified mail to the Fund Office and later verify it has been received. Participants may also submit the form electronically on the SSA Portal by logging into the portal at www.ssatpa.com and clicking on the “Message us via Secure Message” notification at the top of the page.
**Please also note that the Asbestos Abatement class/refresher is interchangeable with the Hazcom/GHS Core Class requirement.
If you would like to pick up an application at the Teamsters Local 492 office located at 4269 Balloon Park Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, you may do so beginning Tuesday, September 08, 2026 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
