Teamsters Local 492 Strike Creamland For Fair Contract

9/3/2025- Teamsters Local 492 has spent the last few months trying to negotiate a fair contract that addresses the needs of our members at Creamland Dairy. During these negotiations, our negotiating team has spent more time waiting on the company, than actually negotiating. This company seems to be unwilling to give our members a fair contract that addresses our members' needs.

The Local remains committed to continuing dialogue with Creamland but, unfortunately, it will be while our members are on the street.

As of 10:00 pm tonight, September 3rd, 2025, Teamsters Local 492 and its members are on strike with Creamland. When Creamland decides to negotiate a contract that meets our members' needs, we will be available to do so.

UPS RPCD Bid Protection

The UPS Teamsters National Master Agreement guarantees Regular Package Car Drivers {RPCDs} the right to protect their bid routes and overtime opportunities from Seasonal Support Drivers. As peak season approaches, RPCDs who want to protect their overtime and route must submit a completed 9.5 add/cut form to their steward by no later than Monday, August 25, indicating that they would like to be removed from the 9.5 list for the rest of the year.

DFA TEAMSTERS VOTE TO AUTHORIZE STRIKES Work Stoppages Expected to Cause Major Disruptions to Dairy Supply Chain For Immediate Release - June 3, 2025 (NATIONWIDE) – More than 1,000 Teamsters have voted to authorize strikes at Dairy Farmers of America (DFA).

SYSCO NM TEAMSTERS RATIFY CONTRACT

SYSCO NM TEAMSTERS RATIFY CONTRACT 4/22/2025 - Sysco members have ratified a new contract with 85% voting yes. The four-year agreement covers warehouse and drivers. The new agreement includes the highest wage increase and pension contributions Sysco has ever given in New Mexico, including Southwest multi-craft health insurance.

SYSCO NM CONTRACT RATIFICATION MEETINGS To: All members in good standing at SYSCO Three (3) Contract Ratification meetings will be held, beginning on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 5:00pm, and two on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The first meeting on Saturday, April 19, 2025, will begin at 11:00 am, with the second meeting beginning at 4:00pm.

ABF Profit Sharing To Be Paid Feb 19, 2025

2/3/2025 - On Friday, ABF announced that it achieved a 91.2% operating ratio for 2024. As a result, the profit-sharing provisions of the 2023-28 ABF NMFA have been triggered. Specifically, qualified members (generally those employees who were on the seniority list from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024) will receive a bonus of 1% of their 2024 earnings.
