Teamsters Local 492 will be holding OSHA Certified Forklift training for the Motion Picture Industry members at the Local Union Hall located at 4269 Balloon Park Rd. NE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109 on Thursday September 30, 2010 and Friday October 1, 2010.  Each class will be held from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm and will include classroom as well as practical instruction.  Once you complete this course you will have an OSHA certification covering the two types of forklifts primarily used in your industry (warehouse and reach fork or Pettibone).  These classes are limited to twenty participants per class so please reserve your spot as soon as possible.  Please indicate whether you are signing up for Thursday or Friday.  Even if you have a card from one of the equipment vendors it is not OSHA certified.  This certified class is equivalent to the training that California Teamsters receive from Contract Services. 

We will also be offering OSHA 10 and Haz-Com classes, for those who have not already taken them, on Saturday October 2, 2010 and Sunday October 3, 2010 from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.  This class requires attendance both days.
