ABF Update- Ballots Are Being Mailed April 30th

Teamsters Local Union 492 will be holding Meetings starting Sunday April 25th for ABF Teamsters regarding the concession package, to view the meeting schedule, Click Here.

Ballots are being mailed out on April 30th and are scheduled to be counted on May 21st.

In addition, the ABF Teamsters are invited to participate on a national conference call to learn more about the Wage Reduction-Job Security Plan. The call is at 6:30 p.m. MDT Tuesday, April 27th. The number to call is 1-877-269-7289. Members will then be asked to enter a code which you can obtain from the newsletter being mailed to you.

On Monday, April 19th, leaders of freight local unions from across the country overwhelmingly endorsed an economic relief plan for ABF Freight System, Inc. that will protect thousands of Teamster members’ jobs and their health, welfare and pension benefits. Read More.

ABF Pension Increase 2025

ABF Pension Increase 2025 9/24/2025 - This notice is to inform you of the contractual pension contribution increase that takes effect August l, 2025, through July 31, 2026, under the ABF NMFA agreement. The contribution rate will increase by $0.80 per hour, with the entire amount applied to your pension.

9/11/2025 - The strike against Creamland Dairy has ended after 1 week. Teamsters Local 492 would like to thank all the dedicated Teamsters who took time out of their busy lives to support their Brothers and Sisters at Creamland.
