450 Show Up For Jobs Day Rally 2011

An estimated 450 people showed up on Jan. 29th 2011 at the State Capital in Santa Fe for the Jobs Day Rally to show support for their Union and send a message to the State legislators that the so called Right-to-Work bill is not wanted in this Great State of New Mexico. We are Pro-Labor here!!! Anti-worker legislation is not welcome. Click Here to view the Photos.
We would like to thank the Teamsters in attendance which included members of the Local 492 Executive Board and 492 Business Agents, and members from ABF Dock & Line, Estancia Valley Solid Waste, OMI, and we would also like to thank Phil Tuff and the retirees for coming out.

Teamster Local 492 will have a representative from the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Plan from Northwest Administrators in our office this month. This is your opportunity to meet face-to-face and review your pension value and where you stand on any PEER requirements, if applicable.

The Teamsters Scholarship Fund applications are now available at Teamster.org/scholarships. In order to expedite the awarding of scholarships, applications will be accepted through April 1, 2026.

9/24/2025 - This notice is to inform you of the contractual pension contribution increase that takes effect August l, 2025, through July 31, 2026, under the ABF NMFA agreement.
The contribution rate will increase by $0.80 per hour, with the entire amount applied to your pension.

9/11/2025 - The strike against Creamland Dairy has ended after 1 week. Teamsters Local 492 would like to thank all the dedicated Teamsters who took time out of their busy lives to support their Brothers and Sisters at Creamland. We are so proud of our Creamland Teamsters for their sacrifice through the strike in order to get a fair contract.
