Attention Teamsters with Southwest Multi-craft Insurance:

9/2/2025-This reminder message is for all of those that participate in the Safety Incentive through Southwest Multi-craft (Southwest Service Admin) insurance program*.

It’s that time of year again! The 2025 Safety Incentive Program will begin accepting applications effective Monday, September 1, 2025, through Wednesday, October 15, 2025. All of the documents found below can also be found on the SSA portal, located under the Safety Incentive 2025 tab, by Clicking Here.

Participants who choose to submit the form by paper, should mail it via certified mail to the Fund Office and later verify it has been received. Participants may also submit the form electronically on the SSA Portal by logging into the portal at www.ssatpa.com and clicking on the “Message us via Secure Message” notification at the top of the page.

The contribution rate will increase by $0.80 per hour, with the entire amount applied to your pension.

DFA TEAMSTERS VOTE TO AUTHORIZE STRIKES Work Stoppages Expected to Cause Major Disruptions to Dairy Supply Chain For Immediate Release - June 3, 2025 (NATIONWIDE) – More than 1,000 Teamsters have voted to authorize strikes at Dairy Farmers of America (DFA).

SYSCO NM TEAMSTERS RATIFY CONTRACT

SYSCO NM TEAMSTERS RATIFY CONTRACT 4/22/2025 - Sysco members have ratified a new contract with 85% voting yes. The four-year agreement covers warehouse and drivers. The new agreement includes the highest wage increase and pension contributions Sysco has ever given in New Mexico, including Southwest multi-craft health insurance.

SYSCO NM CONTRACT RATIFICATION MEETINGS To: All members in good standing at SYSCO Three (3) Contract Ratification meetings will be held, beginning on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 5:00pm, and two on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The first meeting on Saturday, April 19, 2025, will begin at 11:00 am, with the second meeting beginning at 4:00pm.
