Teamsters Local 492 8-Hour DOT Hazmat Awareness Training

Attention Teamsters with Southwest Multi-craft:

4/16/2026 - This message is for all of those that participate in the Safety Incentive through Southwest Multi-craft (Southwest Service Admin) insurance program.

Teamsters Local 492 will be hosting TWO 8-Hour DOT Hazmat Awareness classes. The FIRST class will be on Saturday, April 25th at the Teamsters Hall located at 4269 Balloon Park Rd. NE, Albuquerque NM 87109. The SECOND class will be Sunday, April 26th in Pojoaque NM at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, located at 10 Buffalo Thunder Trail, Santa Fe NM 87506 (directly behind the Buffalo Thunder Casino). Both classes will start at 7:00am and end at approximately 4:00pm. To register, please contact Monique Montoya @ 505-344-1925 ext. 12.

UPS Cola Update 2026

RE: Cost-of-Living (COLA) Adjustment of $0.22 on August 1, 2026 Inflation triggered a 2026 COLA increase of $0.22 per hour and 0.55 cents per mile under the 2023-2028 National Master United Parcel Service Agreement. The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) increased to a level of 328.829 points ( 1982-84= 100) in May 2026.
